About
Built by people who have run these networks
Most ISP billing tools sold into East Africa are either global platforms with no concept of mobile money, or a patchwork of spreadsheets, MikroTik User Manager and manual SMS reminders held together by whoever on the team is most comfortable typing router commands.
Gridix Billing exists to close that gap: one platform that understands MikroTik hotspot and PPPoE workflows natively, and settles revenue the way Tanzanian customers actually pay — M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money and HaloPesa, through ClickPesa, AzamPay, ZenoPay and Selcom.
Our mission
We build the operational backbone that lets a hotspot entrepreneur or a regional fibre operator spend their time growing the network instead of matching mobile money payments by hand. Every feature is judged against one question: does this remove a manual step an operator is currently doing themselves at 11pm because a customer's connection dropped after paying?
Why Tanzania, why now
Tanzania's internet market is full of small and mid-sized operators running MikroTik routers: hotspot vouchers in trading centres, home fibre in residential estates, often both from the same router. They are underserved by billing software written for markets where cards are the norm. Gridix Billing is built around how people really pay here: mobile money from the phone, and printed vouchers as a main feature, not an afterthought.
What we built
A platform where every internet business gets its own web address and its own look on the pages its customers see. Behind that, the whole customer journey runs by itself: making vouchers, checking payments, wallet payouts, switching a customer off when a plan ends and back on when they pay, and SMS messages. Your team deals with the exceptions, not with every payment.
Built on trust
Billing software handles customers' money and personal details, so keeping each business separate and giving staff only the access they need are not extras. They are the foundation. Each business's data, payment settings and customer records are kept apart, and important actions are recorded against the staff member who took them.
